In accord with the National Medical Curriculum and guide
line of BMDC, the Department
of
Anatomy provides high quality teaching of anatomical sciences to medical
students. The
Department conducts basic research and fosters an intellectual environment that
encourages a
sense of inquiry. To help achieve these goals, the Department maintains a working
environment
conducive to the professional and personal well-being of every member of the
Department.
The faculty support the education mission of the College. The Faculty maintains
expertise and
provides instruction of Human Anatomy in the Problem Based Learning curriculum for
first year
medical students and other students as is appropriate.
