medicine@zhswmc.edu.bdDepartment of Medicine is responsible to teach the undergraduate students from 3rd
year to 5th year in the form of lecture, tutorial, clinical classes. We have very
comprehensive teaching staff comprises of two professors, one associate professor,
and two registrars. They are engage in teaching medicine to build a future doctors
for the nation. Every week we have a clinical meeting, seminar, journal clubs
conducted by our interns and supervised by seniors.
In addition to this we have a very good team to run the hospital in very decent way.
We use to see prescribe more than 100 patients daily in the outdoor, examine them
clinically, doing investigations if needed and give them appropriate treatment with
good advice. The patients who need to be treated intensively, being admitted in the
indoor, we have capacity to provide treatment of about 50 patients in the ward and
cabins.
